General Bag Corporation (GBC) is a family held private business based in Cleveland, Ohio, with a satellite office in Presque Isle, Maine. Owned and operated by Allan and Robert Sprosty, GBC has been manufacturing produce bags since 1934.

     Our product line includes mesh window paper potato bags, consumer size poly bags, mail bags, and just about every other type of packaging (in bag or carton form) for potatoes, onions, citrus, and cabbage. We also offer SOM (Sewn Open Mouth) bags and Valve bags, as well as Pinch Bottom bags for industrial and commercial uses.

     GBC presently sells throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand.
